Anyone other than me chickening out and just going up for the meal and to hang out? I figure I RSVP'd so I will come for that but I am not up for the right today.

what a great ride today, you missed out Art! It was cool in the morning, we headed out around 10:30, rain had stopped, and we had an excellent day of riding, had 10 riders in our group at Horseshoe, added a few during the early afternoon. The pig roast after was great, food was excellent, thanks to everyone who brought a donation for the food bank or brought food for the potluck, we had lots to eat, great company. We ended up with about 45 people showing up at the Anten Mills Hall for the after-ride festivities, congrats to Michel's two little ones for winning the Halloween costume contest!

I can't speak for anyone else, but I had an excellent time yesterday!
Sure, it wasn't a lot of fun loading things up early in the AM when it was 2 degrees, snowing and raining at the same time.
However, by the time we got geared up, the rain & snow had stopped, then it was a blast out on the trails :D
Dinner afterwards was excellent. A great day!!!
Thanks to the SCORRA folks and everyone from the ODSC who made it all happen =D>

I think everyone was in specific forest tracts. It was just me an another guy (Ian) who showed up for the DS ride. Neither of us had a GPS to follow the track, so I just led him through all the trails in whatever way I felt like going :)

It was chilly on the road, but pretty warm once you were on the trails. Everything was pretty slippery, so it might be best that we didn't have big bikes with street tires.

Thanks for leading the DS Ride, Pat !

I don't have a bike trailer and ride my bike from Burlington, but when it was time to leave it was 2C with a forecast high of 5C. The weather radar showed all S Ont. covered with rain and Barrie forecast was rain and snow flurries.

Definitely not a DualSport day :(

    Sorry.

Thanks to Scorra for organizing a great day with awesome food & great people to hang out with. It was nice to see the strong turn out, despite the morning weather. While I was loading the truck in the morning, I was asking myself if it was worth it; getting wet & cold in the rain, gale force winds & snow #-o . It was definitely worth it for the 3 of us, glad we persevered and got to the Spooktacular!

My girls were so impressed with their trophies ! =D>
