Yes that's the place Randy.
Hopfully the rain holds out! I have no rain gear and it looks like its going to hover around 10c
Just buy a cheap rain jacket, or 2pc rain suit at CTC. They keep you dry and warm, almost too warm sometimes...
I have a cheap rain jacket that I've used here and there for several years now. I don't care how I or it looks, cause I just end up all muddy and dirty anyways..
Is there a track GPX file you guys can share?
I didn't do a GPS track or route for this ride. Once we're on the trail there is basically no deviation the entire distance.
I'll be there! :moped:
Thats a really good and inexpensive way to fix that issue, dont think I would have thought of that myself. Thanks!
I was really looking forward to this group ride to meet some of the local members. Unfortunately, I can't make it. Really looking forward to doing some local riding over the next month if the weather hold out.
If your close to the London area pehaps we could go for a ride before the snow flies, Im in north London.
Tactical retreat! I promise I'll be back with better tires.. Thanks everyone for your patience and help. Till next time
Glad you made it home! I was tired just watching you with those tires in the mud.
Thanks for hosting the ride today Brian. Nice day even with the cold temperatures. Scott and I were just about frozen as we approached home just after 6. I had over 200km from my place in Komoka. Bike clean up will have to wait until tomorrow!
You deserve some sort of award. Who would tackle a Helliwell ride on a GS650 and street tires!? Not me...I salute you!
That was a pretty cool ride...literally and figuratively. I found it gave a chance to practice certain techniques that I wouldn't have tried so much otherwise... like wheelying over puddles in 3rd gear.
Brian...your rides are the best.
Thanks for putting together a great ride! Mud, water, trees, mud, water, ditches, mud .. (did I miss anything?)
Had a great time!
Thanks for the ride Brian, I had a great time as well. Oh my gosh I haven't felt the cold like that in some time! Thanks Jim for the directions to London. Its time I get myself a GPS. My Vapor computer said 205.3 km, longest ride so far to date
Your a tough dude going as far as you did on those slicks today, pat yourself on the back.
Thanks for Organizing!
Despite the weather, it was a great ride! I'm still drying out!
