Motorcycle Express, a subsidiary of Motorcycle Services, LLC, provides first class services to motorcycle enthusiasts in the USA and around the world. Working closely with motorcycle manufacturers and major insurance companies, Motorcycle Express has developed many types of motorcycle insurance services.

    Uncrated Motorcycle Shipping by Airfreight

We make all the arrangements for Shipping Uncrated Motorcycles by air freight between Canada and Europe by first class carriers. All the client has to do is arrive at the Cargo Terminal with a clean motorcycle, have less than one gallon of gasoline, disconnect the battery and tape the positive terminal. The motorcycle is then strapped to a pallet and shipped in an airline container. We do offer group discounts for motorcycles leaving from the same port.

    Passenger Tickets

If riders decide to ship in/out of Canada , we can refer them to a travel agent who can book their passenger ticket on the same flight as their bike.

Our “Temporary U.S. Motorcycle Insurance Program” provides insurance coverage’s for visiting foreign nationals while riding as tourists in the United States and Canada . This insurance program meets the statutory requirements of each state in the U.S. and will comply with each Canadian Province . The client can purchase coverage for liability only or liability with fire, theft, vandalism and collision for the number of months they will be traveling.

Our “Foreign Motorcycle “Green Card” Insurance Program” provides coverages for United States and Canadian citizens while riding in Europe . This insurance program meets foreign regulatory requirements for tourists. The client can purchase coverage for liability only or liability with fire, theft, vandalism and collision for the number of months they will be traveling.

Feel free to contact our office if you have any questions about our motorcycle programs. We look forward to hearing from you.

Yupp, they are great to use. Maybee not the cheapest with the airplane tickets, but at least your on the same plane as your bike. In summer of 2006 they used AirTransat for the shipment.

I used the to ship from Frankfurt, Germany to Toronto and I didn't have one scatch on my bike (I got the scratches during my time in Canada... ;) ) and all went really smoothly. Only glitch is when I returned to Europe and the link between the shipping company in Frankfurt to the Custom was down and took a few hours before it came up. Nothing that Motorcycle Express could have help me with though...

Gail Goodman is a very helpful girl/women. Got an early update of change of terminal/shipping agents in Frankfurt while I was in Canada.

i guess everyone is asking "How much???"

For my bike-boy (an Honda Transalp 600cc) it costed in total around US$ 3.100 for shipping Frankfurt - Toronto Vancouver - Frankfurt. If I would have shipped out from Toronto as well I would have saved around US$200.

That's all I know of my costs for the tour in Canada, haven't done any further investigation of my expenses but I had money left when I returned so that enough for me... ;)

I can say that during my investigation for a shipper I realized that shipping from Europe to NA it's about the same price by air as by sea. But the time is alot faster by air...

    I can highly recommend them.

About insurance in Europe, I've read that you should not buy it from Canada/US since it's up to 10 times more expensive then what you can get in europe, most european countries speak english enough to be able to handle such transaction.

In case of a serious thought of travel over here, check out the horizonsunlimited site. They have a bunch of information about things like that.

Late edit: And if anyone of you happens to pass Stockholm, Sweden on your journey you have a place to stay for awhile. Might be able to get you a shelter for the bike as well. Just let mine live outdoor for a while...

    Cheers,
