    Hi everyone,

Just a note to thank the organizers - it was great fun while it lasted!!

Thank you to all that stopped to help try get the Berg started and an especially big thank you to Milkmanz for the use of your truck to get the bike back to the snowmobile club. Not everyone would give there truck to someone they just met!

I look forward tro riding with you all again.

What happened to the bike? Have you diagnosed it?

Its not getting gas - fuel pump or injector problem I guess. I did notice that the fuel pump did not cycle on and off when I hooked up the battery tender and it usually does.

Will look at it tomorrow - just spent an hour cleaning my bike and gear. Its time for a couple of beers.

ah, fuel injected. Not as easy as cleaning out the carb.

1st thing to look at is the connector near the air filter. If it came off the pump wont run yet the bike will turn over like normal. I have seen it get bumped by people (inc myself) and popped off when changing your air filter.

Enjoyed the ride immensely, thank you to all for making the effort to put this ride together again. Great day, great weather, great people & good food. I'm off to explore the Fire Access road off of 507 before the rain begins tonight.

Man... I always miss the good ones!

Something came up at the last minute (seriously, I had my gear on already) that kept me away. I even stayed up until 12:30 the night before putting the new Trakmasters on. :(

I ma glad everyone had a good time. I will need to live vicariously through the pictures! On a side note, I was able to get all new gear at the Royal Distributing tent sale!

I would be up to doing a Bethany Part II ride for all those who missed out. If anyone wants to do the trail again, let me know. Chef...maybe a good Moto Moto reunion??

Just wanted to say a big thanks to the organizers and pre-riders, it was a great ride and I had a ball!. I have a few pics, but I'm not sure how to shrink them to post (I'll work at it). If someone puts together a bethany sequel, I would definitely do it again. Maybe I'll trailer the bike this time - the ride home back to Orillia was definitely a long one!

Great day, kudos to Crazyfrog for organizing, and the Heaven On 7 people for going out of their way to make sure we were fed and watered.

BTW, the only problem with the "other" Berg was with the doughy part that connects the hand grips to the footpegs. Huge thanks to Z1KRob, Crazyfrog and WowSignal for pulling me out of the mud. If you've ever ridden the Bethany you know the mud pit I'm talking about. Avoided 99% of it but it reached up and grabbed my rear wheel with a few feet to go. The actual bike was great all day, but I think the DRZ boys enjoyed seeing the 2 bikes that got a few oohs and ahs at the start of the day be the only 2 guys who needed help. #-o
